The Two Timelines

About the adventure

Welcome to the world of Incar! This campaign takes place after a split in the timeline. In one version, an evil tyrant killed the Goddess of Life and ushered in a dystopia, and in another he was defeated by a party of adventurers. The campaign itself takes place several decades after these events in both timelines. Perfect for players who have way too many character ideas and want to play multiple in one campaign.

How to prepare

You are going to need a webcam/mic. Be aware of the rules involving your characters and their abilities. I would prefer for the characters to be created on D&D Beyond, but if you would rather do a different method, I would just need the character sheets in advance. Also a Roll20 account for combat purposes. You can use physical or online dice.

I am going to have certain rule books, a Roll20 campaign, and many other things.

Gameplay details

This game is going to involve you playing two separate characters, though we are going to switch off every session, so you do not need to be prepared to play both unless I tell you. Also, one half the campaign will be low level characters, and the other high level characters. I as the DM hold the right to use home brewed versions of rules, but I am always open to criticism. The biggest safety tool I plan on using is communication. I'll ask you if you feel comfortable/what will make the existence more fun for you, and I encourage you to contact me about the same thing. That being said, one half of this campaign is in a dark setting, so some topics that you may be uncomfortable with may be broached.

Session 0

How will character creation work

There will be a session 0 were you can create both your characters. One set of characters will be starting at Level 1, and the other at Level 10. It is during this session that we will discuss the world more in depth and where your characters will fit in. It will all be an open conversation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
