About the adventure

The Twisting Festival is a level 0 adventure that will see players partaking in remote town's festival. There will be games, dancing, murder, mutilation, and dark secrets. Surviving will be a matter of luck, determination, and skill. Your refugee caravan has managed to finally get some distance from the war. Running south you have finally entered the remote regions of Rul, where you hope to make a home. Your journey is some ways from complete, but hope is on the horizon. One sign of this hope is the town of Glasmont, a large walled community at the base of a mountain. They have offered your caravan free shelter if you stay for their Twisting Festival. Once you enter the gates will be shut, and no one can leave for three days. Still, after so much time on the road, a bed and hot food for free nights is irresistible for you caravan. You don't know what a Twisting Festival is, but from the attitude of the locals it seems festive.

How to prepare

Players will require a microphone, computer with internet, Discord Account, and forge-vtt.com account. It is highly recommended that players obtain either the Shadow of the Demon Lord core book or the Victims of the Demon Lord Starter Guide.

Gameplay details

This game also uses X,N,O cards for player safety during game. X cards stop the game if content that players are uncomfortable with comes up, N cards are used when a player feels content that could lead to an X card is coming, and O cards are used to check in on a player if you feel content may have upset them. This game uses the Lines and veils safety tools. Lines are content that players do not want in the game at all. Veils are content that players only want hinted at. This game will have a 10 minute break if it goes beyond the 2 hour mark. This game also has an open door policy, so players are free to leave for any reason if they need to.

How will character creation work

Character Creation will take place during the game. Players will be limited to character options from the Shadow of the Demon Lord Starter guide. It's fast so don't worry.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
