The Tower of Svinju - One Shot Homebrew Adventure

About the adventure

Welcome Adventurer! In the land of Sahol is the desert Zraal. In the desert stands a tower. In the tower lives a conjurer. Once a benevolent creature. A loxodont magic user of great power and kindness. Now twisted, it seems. For he has revoked his blessing on the lands. Sucking life from every oasis he has ever conjured. Now the Zraal desert suffers. No watering holes means no water and no water means no life. Life in the desert has always been hard, but there has always been means to soften that hardship; no longer. Something needs to be done. If only there were a band of willing adventurers... So now you find yourself and your band of compatriots standing in the middle of the Zraal desert under the gaze of red stone walls and beyond them the mystical Tower of Svinju. This is a one shot game for characters at 12th level for intermediate to experienced players in a homebrew setting where the rule of cool... er.. rules. I like to tweak and mash-up foe stats to keep it fresh and challenge my players and maybe throw a few surprises at them. My games are chilled, not too rules-focused and aimed at fun and adventure. I love puzzles, combat, mystery and roleplay... I'm also an writer and artist so all the settings have custom drawn maps, illustrations and unique stories.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You'll need a Roll20 and Discord account, a webcam (optional) and mic. I recommend a headset too, to cut out things like feedback. You can either use the Roll20 virtual dice and character sheet or good old fashioned pen, paper an dice (I always recommend having a hard copy just incase of tech issues...). Feel free to provide your own character portrait.

I will supply custom maps and illustrations for the VTT.

Gameplay details

X, N & O cards messaged public or whispered on Roll20 A 10 minute break is included to strech legs and grab a drink. I like my games to be a fun, friendly and all-inclusive enviroment.

How will character creation work

Please build a level 12 character before the game. I'll send you a discord link before the game commences where you can access a PDF player's guide with all the details for the build. The discord group can be used to ask any questions you have. Books used are: 5e Player's Handbook, Volo's Guide to Monsters and Mordenkienen's Tome of Foes for character creation. Alternatively, I have ready-to-go character sheets. Let me know your choice.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
