The Tower of Nocturnes, a young adult horror game 15+

About the adventure

A wise man once told me that no man is a tower. As I look at the stone and mortar, piled-high upon this unholy altar, I can't help but feel that this building is aware of me. Stepping inside will be like walking through the mouth of some great patient beast and hoping for it not to swallow. The dark citadel of legend. Each floor, a hell in and of itself. I must persevere. The answer lies in the Tower of Nocturnes. Imagine a D&D game combined with Call of Cthulhu/Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark/ and an in depth phycological thriller. I want this game to be cinematic in nature. We describe action as you would if you were watching a scene from a movie. Roleplaying and character development are a BIG DEAL here. We ALWAYS speak in character. This game is mature and dark. There are mature themes that press you to really get into the determinism of you character. This game is for players that want to branch out from the ordinary hero quest and into a dark antihero redemption scenario.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You should have discord installed and be in my private server a day prior to our game. A working microphone and camera for use in discord. Have an idea of what type of character you want to play(Fighter/Rogue/Magic User). This game revolves around characters who are trying to find redemption for an evil act they committed. Have something in mind for a backstory, we will work together to flesh it out. Email Blacksungamingpresents@gmail.com prior to our game session to work on your character sheet (the sooner the better/at least a day before our game).

What I provide

The sad and solemn music that plays throughout your journey. I provide an in-app dice roller and maps/pictures to be viewed and used in our private discord server.
