About the adventure

Welcome, traveler! You are to embark on an expedition to the peninsula of Chult! Syndra Silvane, a retired adventuring wizard and merchant of great reputation, needs your help. It seems a strange illness, known as the *death curse*, is slowly killing anyone who has been raised from the dead... Including your benefactor, Syndra. I welcome players of any skill level! If you need help with the rules, I'm always happy to help. This is a campaign starting at 1st level and ending around the 11th level. I play using D&D beyond for character records and Discord for voice and video chat. The game is run using the theater of the mind, no grids. Handouts and Maps are given through Discord. Character creation rules: The following races are permitted: Any from the PHB and the tabaxi, owlin, goblin, kobold and harengon races. The following feats are permitted: Any from the PHB, TCoE and XGtE. Polearm master is banned. The following classes are restrained: Artificers are not permitted. You may use any subclasses from the following sources: The PHB, TCoE and XGtE.

How to prepare

Players are expected to have ready-made characters. Players should try and familiarize themselves with the rules and the setting as much as they feel they need. Rules guidance during character creation and gameplay is always an option and I don't mind teaching new players how to play.

Gameplay details

There will be a Discord server for the game which will include channels for things such as memes, handouts, game conversation, maps and the likes. There will also be a journal where players can take notes for everyone to see. Games are run using theatre of the mind. We won't be using grids for combat. I send images during the games to help imagine the world and what your characters see. After a session, I invite players to stay and chat about the game and their feelings towards it or any other subjects the players want to abord to decompress.

How will character creation work

The characters start at 1st level. You are to make your own character before your first session using the guidelines in the game's description. If you have questions about rules and character creation, I'm always happy to help!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
