The Shifting Sands

About the adventure

After the deaths of Cleopatra and Antony, Egypt has been thrown into a new world. The magic of this new world cause the creatures of myth and legend to once again manifest. Bandits, mummies, and perhaps even the gods themselves. Navigate through pyramids, curses, and corruption while trying to maintain your sanity. The sands are always shifting in this desert.

How to prepare

We will not be using video. You do need to have a mic. For voice we will be using discord on my private server. Rules will be posted in the discord channel. Please read over them before session 0. We will be using DnD Beyond (or Roll20 whichever you prefer) to keep track of character sheets and rolling (please no physical dice rolling as much as we all love the feel of our dice). Instead of planning your characters class beforehand please create a concept of who they are as a person outside of combat. Hobbies, beliefs, backgrounds, etc. All official sourcebook is acceptable as far as races and class goes. Please keep in mind that A) The desert is a harsh environment for some races and B) Egyptian gods are mostly depicted as animals so certain races might have certain difficulties in this campaign. With that in mid please have a prepared character token available before session 0.

Session 0 will be setting up not only your characters and their stats but also setting expectations and going over a few ground rules. X,N,O will be messaged (PM'd if wishing to remain anonymous)

How will character creation work

Character will start at first level. They will be created in game during session 0. We will be rolling stats and going from there. Standard rolling 4d6 keeping highest 3 dice. We will be including Sanity stats.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
