About the adventure

August 25th, 1928: Providence, Rhode Island. The Milton Hotel cordially invites you to view the fantastical traveling exhibition “The Kingdom of Fire—Egypt’s 18th Dynasty.” All the way from the British Museum, London, England, come see these wonders of ancient Egypt, rare and priceless items from a time long ago. Learn about their history from Dr. Caitlin Bronson, the exhibition’s curator, who will be on hand to answer all of your questions. Marvel at the treasures of Tutankhamun and Hatshepsut, along with the star of the exhibition, the mysterious canopic jar of Ibnhotep the Mad! Tickets are limited and going fast—and you don’t want to miss out on what promises to be the most talked about exhibition of the year! In this scenario for Call of Cthulhu 7e, you play investigators visiting an exhibition of ancient artifacts. Of course, you aren't the only ones here to see the exhibition, and these artifacts may hold more than they seem... [This game is for players 18+! Please do not apply if you are under 18. Additional Details

How to prepare

Players will need to join the Discord & Roll20 ahead of game time for the purposes of character creation and ensuring everything is set up correctly. We will use Roll20 for all dice rolls. Players will need a working mic, a Discord account, and a Roll20 account.

What I provide

There will be no physical mementos of this game. I will bring the maps and handouts via Roll20.

Gameplay details

Content Warnings Include: Body horror, guns, darkness, death, being hunted/stalked, loss of mental fortitude/sanity. We will be using an X-Card Deck in the Roll20 game. This game has an Open Door Policy- players are free to leave for their own comfort and safety without being judged.

How will character creation work

Players will be able to select from one of 6 characters created for use in the scenario, OR may use a character created with me in one of my create a character sessions. Players may also request time before the scenario to create a character with me.
