About the adventure

The Secrets of Sokol Keep is investigation and adventure with the lives of the townsfolk at stake. It is set in the lands of the Forgotten Realms, a place of magic and adventure. Sokol Keep is in the harbor of the city of Phlan. Elves, dwarves, people of all races live and work in the city. Fishermen and sailors rely on the light at Sokol Keep for their safety in dangerous waters. The light went dark three days ago--you need to investigate the island and learn about the light house keeper and the garrison of the island. There may be perils beneath the island if the rumors about the island's dark past are true. This is a one-shot adventure appropriate for characters between the levels of 1 and 4. Any race or class from the Player's Handbook or other DnD hardback is appropriate.

How to prepare

We will use Discord for online game play. I'll use Discord to share some maps and images. You need to have a current Discord account, and a microphone. You might enjoy using the webcam on your computer, but the camera is completely optional.

I'll bring some maps and images to illuminate the game.

Gameplay details

We will dive right into the story, put the team together, and go! This is a game of about equal parts combat, role play, and exploration.

How will character creation work

Please bring the 3rd level character you have already created. Your character can be based on the Starter Set, Player's Handbook, or Xanathar's rules. We will not be creating characters together; you must have a completed character before you join the game. If you'd prefer, I will also make pre-generated characters available.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
