About the adventure

Deep within the gungles of the Wild Continent of Xen'drik, there is a plethora of temples and hidden treasures, though its changing topography makes it nearly impossible to explore. Nonetheless, you have been approached by the Warlock Amand Markez, who requires a group of adventurers. He wishes to explore a lost Giant Temple dedicated to the Couatls, great celestials and protectors of the races of Eberron, in search of an artifact that can stop the resurgence of a destructive fiend imprisoned in the underlands of Khyber. There is nonetheless a twist; the fiend is Arkatz, who happens to be Markez patron. He claims that he, more than anyone, knows Arkatz's destructive intent... But are his intentions pure? Or does is it a trick to finally liberate his master... There is only one way to find out! Secrets of Arkatz is a pulpy dungeon crawl into a temple full of puzzles, traps, and monsters (and why not? a bunch of cultist too!)! Wits, smarts, and strength are required to carry your team to the end... What end, though, might something less clear than at first apparent!

How to prepare

Players should have mic for vchat on discord. We will be using foundryVTT, where I will have pre-gen characters. But if players wish to make on DnDbeyond, that is fine. I will have a campaign open on DnDbeyond where they can access all the content I own there. If there is something I don't own and they wish to use, let me know and I will make it available.

Gameplay details

Tons of exploring, and some cultist doing some shady things, but overall not a dark adventure. Playes can expect to find way to deal with obstacles and solve puzzles.
