THE RUINS OF HEXGAARD: A 1st Level One-Shot (D&D 5e)

About the adventure

The sky is overcast as you crouch on the edge of the forest. Looking for clues to hidden danger, you survey the ruined fortress of Hexgaard before you. Two gigantic Blood Vultures nest in the broken parapets, guarding the entrances to the catacombs below. There dwell the Nightfang Goblins and their master – the Shadow-Magus, Vaedos. They will not look kindly upon your intrusion. A one-shot adventure for 1st Level characters, THE RUINS OF HEXGAARD hits all the beats of a classic D&D adventure - ruins, crypts, goblins, monsters, treasure, and a few puzzles and mysteries. If you're new to D&D, this is a great way to learn the ropes and test your mettle. Experienced players will find plenty of opportunity for tactics, problem-solving, and good old-fashioned hacking and slashing.

How to prepare

A computer, a mic, and a quiet place to play is all that is required. This game is open to all, so if you've never had experience with D&D before, you're welcome to join! When you sign up, I'll link you to my Discord server and we can discuss your character and hammer out any other details before the game.

How will character creation work

Characters will be 1st Level and be made in D&D Beyond (free account). Upon joining I'll invite you to my Beyond campaign and you'll have access to all the resources found in the 5e Player's Bundle. If you already have a 1st level character, you can bring them in, or I have pre-generated characters created for those who don't have a character created!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
