The Rise of Cobra-La - A G.I. Joe RPG

About the adventure

Cobra was bad enough, but now our intelligence is reporting rumblings of a new group, Cobra-La. While Cobra-La is associated with Cobra in some way, we aren't sure what, but their "technology" is organic and like nothing we've seen before. We need YOU recruit, to join G.I. Joe, America's Elite fighting force, to stand up and join us in our mission to keep the world safe.

How to prepare

You will need a webcam and mic and we will use Discord for audio and visual. Physical dice will be needed for player rolls, or a dice rolling program, if you can find one that works with the mechanics.

What I provide

The game is specifically theater of the mind for combat, but I will provide visuals for the players. I also will provide the base rulebook as a PDF, if the players don't have one. As I obtain other books, I will provide those as well.

Gameplay details

We will have a free session zero to go over safety tools. This game is focused on roleplay, but there will be a fair bit of action, in typical G.I. Joe fashion. The game is warfare focused, but with some of the fun and light content from the 80s cartoon.

How will character creation work

During session zero, we'll go over concepts and create characters. If you want a pregenerated character, I can provide those, but the book provides a lot of great options for how to make your character unique and specialized.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
