The Promised Land: Tierra Promesa (Session Zero)

About the adventure

A prequal to my main campaign we find ourselves in a new world where rulers are at odds and lands are still ravaged by ancient monsters! You are hired to clear the dungeons and make the land safer for the new world to begin! Giants in the mountains, Dragons in the Dungeons, and a series of missing people that leads to a possible ancient Evil waiting for its return. But you just want to slay monsters and hang heads ion a summer home! Pure Monster of the week fun, first session FREE for new and older players. I use homebrew rules and am willing to be flexible on them if it makes the game more fun.

How to prepare

I would prefer you have a camera at least so I can se your dice rolls, face not required. Discord for our session and I will share any digital mats needed.

What I provide

If you have no dice, you must use the digital dice on DND beyond.

Gameplay details

I run a fun open world where nearly anything can happen very much like Game of Thrones or SPARTACUS. I stay away from SA subjects although it is implied through possible discussion of warfare or tragedies in the world. Session Zero I like to go over these things and during gameplay we may alter rules as needed. WE WILL NOT HOWEVER ALTER TOO MUCH WHERE A SINGLE PLAYERS VIEWS ARE ENFORCED OVER OTHERS or ALTERS THE STORY TOLD. The Game is a prequal and characters may be used in my other campaign as NPC that can die of old age or sudden deaths.

Session 0

How will character creation work

Level 3 is where we will start as you are semi experienced Adventurer. I use the DND Beyond system and own most of the books, Donations welcome to add books or any other tools for the game. I prefer the creation be done beforehand using a point system and I will provide items beyond your starting gear.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
