The Pits of Q'el: A D&D PVP Arena!

About the adventure

You and your party of adventurers face off against the most dangerous foe imaginable: Another party of adventurers! Your party will first assemble your team of combatants by making characters in DnD Beyond (using the content I've unlocked) and importing those characters to Foundry VTT. Then you and your team will join a Discord server to briefly meet your opponents, the GM sets the stage of a formal arena, and teams split off into private rooms (which I will jump in and out of to referee) and the battle begins! This game is for min-maxers, rules lawyers, and people who just love DnD combat. There will be table rules, arena obstacles, surprise challenges, and more!

How to prepare

Headphones and mic are essential. You will need a browser/computer capable of running Foundry VTT smoothly (https://foundryvtt.com/article/requirements), a basic understanding of D&D 5e combat mechanics, Discord, and a good, sporting attitude!

What I provide

All D&D Beyond content, battle maps, music, special challenges and themes, and adventure hooks for anyone playing, or interested in joining, an Exiles of Qel campaign.

Gameplay details

Bullies get booted! Please let me know if someone's behavior (either on your team or your opponent's) makes you uncomfortable, and I will either speak with them privately, give them a warning, kick them from the game, or ban them from the server at my discretion.

How will character creation work

There will be a timed draft, where you and your team use DnD Beyond to create your characters. I might throw in a special requirement or theme for the draft (think' Iron Chef'). I will then carefully inspect each character sheet before inviting all teams to 'weigh in,' where there will be a chance for parlay with opponents, then teams split off and prepare for battle!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
