About the adventure

A ship's captain named Jenny Harken approaches your group, asking for help- last week her ship, the Second Best, was attacked by a pirate ship called the Inheritor. The pirates captures many of her crew before the captain and her remaining force fought them off. Among those taken was her first mate and lover, Red Bertram. With a shorthanded and wounded crew, she makes an offer for you: she'll ferry you to the island where the Inheritor makes port, where you must invade the hideout, slay Captain Jarzon and the pirates he commands, and bring her crew - and Bertram - back. In exchange, you'll be paid well, in addition to any plunder you find.
