About the adventure

Brace yourselves for an adventure with a unique touch of humor and corporate intrigue. As wannabe heroes aspiring to great things, you get in the mix with a guild of adventurers in a way you may or may not expect. From there, you'll be in touch with a mission bigger than you could predict: deal with a potential artifact to prevent it to fall in the wrong hands. You'll travel to remarkable places to conquer fame and protect the world from evil - and grow a business in the process if you so choose to! This is a short campaign that will take characters from level 1 to 6. If the players want, we can continue it into a larger campaign afterwards. This is a play-by-post campaign, which means that we'll play only by text, no need for video or voice. The game is open 24h to play and, as the DM, I'll post multiple times a day if needed. The game will be billed once a week.

How to prepare

An account at Discord (free) is the only thing you need to join. You can also use a (free) D&D Beyond account for your character sheet. You should think of a character concept or be willing to play a premade character if not. I can help you set it up in either case.

Gameplay details

📝 This game is play-by-post, which means we'll play by text. There's no need of previous experience. We'll play in discord with the help of Avrae bot, which means you can play with your computer or your mobile. 🤝 Before the game starts, we'll talk about connections among player characters and discuss game expectations and how we can move forward the best way possible for everyone. That includes talking about safety tools and learning a little bit about Avrae bot if you're not familiar with it. 🖼 I'll also use maps for visual help sometimes, if the players are interested. ⏳ The game is open 24h a day, with my intervention a couple times a day according to the demand. 💹 The level advancement will be by milestones, which means that characters will level up as the group accomplish goals and/or plot points during gameplay. Everyone will level up at the same time.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 1. Before the game starts, simulating a Session 0, I'll help everyone develop and create their characters based on the concepts they chose. Also, you can always chose a premade characters and go from there. You can bring as much as you want about your character to the group or privately for the DM if you want some secrets' shenanigans 👽🐱‍👤🤖👻🧞‍♀️ All official content is allowed, and we'll specify it again during character creation. You can create your sheet in D&D Beyond or any other way supported by Avrae Bot. We'll use standard array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or roll (4d6 dropping the lowest) for the stats. Players can roll first and then decide. Everything will be clarified before the game starts and I'll help everyone to fill their character sheets.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
