About the adventure
November 26th, 1924. You and your team have been working tirelessly with shovel, spade, and trowel in the Egyptian Valley of Kings. The sun beats down as you carefully unveil the façade of an ancient structure cut deep into the cliff face, buried by the sands of several millennia. At your command, the labourers heave at the crudely assembled pulley system and hoist the hefty slab blocking the tomb's entrance out of the way. A darkened hallway leading into the tomb is all that stands between you and the fame, fortune and discovery of a lifetime... The Necropolis is a short introductory scenario for Call of Cthulhu.

How to prepare
You'll need a discord account, a microphone, and a reliable internet connection. No previous experience of Call of Cthulhu is necessary, I'm happy to explain things as we go along, though you may like to download and read the Quickstart rules, which are available as a free download from Chaosium here: https://www.chaosium.com/cthulhu-quickstart We'll be using Foundry Virtual Tabletop for dice rolls, character sheets and handouts. Don't worry if you've never used Foundry before, I'll talk you through it as we go along. I would recommend using either Chrome or Firefox as your browser for Foundry, as they seem to be the most stable.

How will character creation work
This scenario comes with a cast of four pre-generated characters to choose from, specially tailored to fit the story. Each character has an interesting background story, along with suggested traits and roleplaying hooks. There are an Archaeologist, a Professor of Languages, a Dilettante and an Ex-Soldier.
