    About the adventure

Enjoy a trip to the dangerous plane of Valachan for a tropical hunt like no other; because you're what's being hunted. In this campaign based on the Richard Connell short story, player characters have been invited on a weekend safari by billionaire eccentric Dulcimer Crane. But they don't know that Dulcimer has only invited them (alongside a scattering of other adventurers) to give himself a greater challenge for his hunting hobby. Beginning the moment after being set loose by Dulcimer, this campaign takes players through the deadly jungle paradise of Valachan as they race back to the border hoping they can escape before Dulcimer adds a new trophy to his collection. Plan your trek across the map of Valachan. Make choices to either maintain your humanity or give in to the island's blood bargains for a better chance at survival. Face off against prehistoric predators or creepy crawlies; tricky traps or oversized animals. The choice is yours! What to expect: - 👥 2-4 players - 💪 Level 1-5 - ⏱ 2 Hour Sessions - ⚠ Lethal Encounters (death not uncommon!) - 🎶 Music and ambience for a thrilling experience

    How to prepare

Players need a working webcam, mic, internet connection, an account on DnDBeyond (link included in prep materials), and an account on roll20. Please double-check ahead of time that you can voice and video chat on roll20 (give it permission to access the mic and camera etc.) While playing, players should have their character sheet open in front of them on DnDBeyond or physically printed out. Please be familiar with the broad strokes of your character sheet before your first session.

    What I provide

I will be providing access to my complete DnDBeyond library as well as providing maps, tokens, and ambient music and sound for atmosphere! I love to bring a narrative focus to D&D and am passionate about crafting a story that will "yes and" as much as you toss out into the space.
