About the adventure

The classic adventure of Curse of Strahd brought to life with gritty horror and darkness inspiration from the hit horror podcast, The Magnus Archives. There's death waiting behind every door and ruthless vampire hunting you with all their cunning, can you survive and escape the mists? More importantly, can you you escape before it corrupts you entirely? This is a faithful campaign at first glance, but the players and their choices can lead it off book and into new and dangerous territory that expands into the many other lands of Ravenloft in all their horror. How to prepare

Our session zero will be a free session and not cost anyone any money. For the campaign, you'll need to have a DNDBeyond account, a discord account, a webcam, microphone and headphones as we play online in a video call. No other software or hardware is needed.

What I provide

I'll be providing a discord server, a dndbeyond account with all the books unlocked, the campaign's art and visual materials, music, unique character voices, customized encounters and storytelling, ambient sound effects and a wide variety of virtual maps, plus my years of experience in running Curse of Strahd and helping new players get into the game.

Gameplay details

Players can expect an immersive roleplay experience with as much crunch as they desire in their combat, or as heavy of a focus on storytelling as they prefer. The campaign has many horror elements but I make sure my table is a safe place for all players.

Session 0

How will character creation work

Characters will be created after our session zero (or in the session zero if the players want) by making a character on DNDBeyond and then preferably the players will make a heroforge of their character so I can use it as their token in the game. Both of these services are without any costs and are completely free.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
