About the adventure

The carriage rocked against the dirt road, taking you further and further into the forest. As the travel wears on you eventually fall asleep, only to wake up in an unfamiliar land. The trees are different, tall and threading, surrounded on all sides by a thick fog. Finally the carriage stops and you step out for the first time in this strange new land. In the distance you see a small town, overlooked by a great castle that sits atop the mountain range. It's master sits upon his throne, a sly smile upon his face. His guests have arrived. Hello and welcome to Barovia. A dark land filled with terrible monsters and secrets behind every corner. Here, I will be running for you the popular Curse of Strahd adventure module. My intention is to run a generally serious adventure with a good mix of roleplay and combat. Will you save Barovia from the dark powers that have cursed it? Or will you be its next victim?

How to prepare

You will need a mic, discord, and a Roll20 account. I would also suggest having access to the Player's Handbook. If you have some sort of art to represent your character, send it to me too, either already as a token, or the picture itself that I can make into a token.

I am providing the module, various other sourcebooks that I own, music and ambience, maps, and a desire to give everyone a good time.

Gameplay details

Curse of Strahd is a dark campaign and as such, can run into a number of uncomfortable topics. However, I will always let my players know before the campaign starts that if they have any topics that are uncomfortable for them, and would like to see not come up, that they can message me and let me know and I will make sure they do not pop up during the game. Any time you have concerns, you can hit me up and we can try to find a solution.

Session 0

How will character creation work

We will have a session zero for people to build their characters, of course, feel free to ask me ahead of time if you have ideas, but the actual making of the characters will happen at the same time for everyone.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
