Think James Bond, Charlie's Angels, and Mission Impossible, all draped in the fantasy backdrop of Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition. As a member of the Mercenary's Guild you've got to be ready for anything! Get your assignment, get your gear, and get to work. Your life, and perhaps less importantly, the wellbeing of the world, hangs in the balance. Choose a feat AND two points of ability score improvement! Played in the theater of the mind, The Mercenary's Guild is perfect for new players and seasoned dungeoneers alike. Each game will have continuity, but won't rely on the same party every time, which means you can build a roster of characters you can choose from or have a consistent character from session to session. Essentially, the characters can change, but the players will be generally consistent from week to week, allowing for deeper character building and overlapping narratives between characters. Additional Details

How to prepare

Please have a headset (earbuds with mic or separate mic/headphones combo) ready to minimize ambient noise. Games can get boisterous (we have a good time), and we don't want to disturb the neighbors, or experience feedback. Games are run through Google Meet, so any browser should be able to run the game, and if you want to appear on screen you should have your webcam set up ahead of time.

What I provide

DnDBeyond has integrated dice rollers in case you don't have your own, but you can roll real dice if you got em. You bring the characters. I'll bring the rest of the world.

Create characters on DnDBeyond and get ready to take on the world! The format is pretty consistent ... Get your mission, get your gear, and get to work. There's more action than anything else, with a focus on narrative development through game play.

How will character creation work

Go to https://ddb.ac/campaigns/join/16711483805701139 to create a level *6* character and get ready for anything! ALSO ... in the character builder please choose Ability Score Improvement if you have four or more levels in a single class, and on the character sheet add a feat under "features and traits". Choose standard equipment and an *uncommon* magical item. Characters should be made well in advance of game time. On the Character Builder "home" page please select all available source material besides Rick & Morty, make your Hit Point Type "Manual" and confirm, then make your rolled HP the max you could have rolled. If you have questions on how to accomplish these things please reach out BEFORE game time.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
