About the adventure

You have been hired by Aralia Parcelthorne, the head of Rauenthal's city watch, after she received word that a teenaged member of the gang The Mad Bastards is planning to throw the city into chaos at the upcoming Revelation Harvest festival. This young agent provocateur, Ignatius Stryche, has the ability to psychically effect large crowds and an anti-social drive to use it for his own enjoyment. As Revelation Harvest begins in the small city, crowds of people from all races, backgrounds, and dispositions clog the streets. The atmosphere is festive and friendly enough, but how much will it take for this crowd to become an angry mob? And how do you fight an enemy that uses waves of sentient beings as both sword and shield? Join this homebrewed adventure to find out!

How to prepare

Players will need a functioning microphone and access to Discord. They will need to provide a complete level 3 character sheet before the adventure starts. Dice rolls, character tokens, and elements of ambience will be done through Foundry - which only requires a working internet browser for players to join.

I will be providing DM narration and executing the adventure through Foundry.

Gameplay details

This adventure will involve elements of psychic manipulation and revolves around the horrific elements of what crowds of regular people can do when agitated. If such themes make you uncomfortable, you may not want to take part in this adventure. As it is set during a festival, this adventure will also make reference to recreational drinking and drug use.

How will character creation work

Players will be asked to provide a link to a level 3 character sheet before the game begins. The easiest way to do this is to send a link to a sheet made on DNDBeyond.com, although I'm fine with any format as long as it's legible and complete. I will also ask for any notes on character personality and backstory.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
