The Lost Oracle (One-shot)
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Discord, Roll20
About the adventure
An young oracle from the fabled Shrine of Apollo at Delphi has gone missing in the forest. The forest is known to be prowling with monsters and to be abound with mysteries. The acolytes from the Shrine have called any heroes or adventurers nearby to aid in the search for the Lost Oracle. You have arrived at the Shrine of Delphi and are being sent to the forest to search for the oracle. Hopefully you won't be too late. This one-shot is an exploration based mystery where the players will have to explore the mythical forests of Delphi, The Pythian Woods, and find clues in order to find the missing oracle. You can expect combat, exploration and a some bit of roleplaying. This will be a one-shot played on my homebrew setting of Stygia. Stygia is basically just Ancient Greece (think Bronze Age Greece) during the times of heroes, myths and monsters. The world is filled with powerful monsters that must be constantly kept at bay unless they destroy all mortal races. And as monsters prowl out in the world, monsters also dwell in the hearts of mortals. You can never be sure of who you trust. It is hard to survive in the world of Stygia, and living to grow old is a luxury not many can afford. This one-shot will be around 20% exploration, 30% roleplaying, 40% combat and 10% puzzles.

Having a basic level of understanding the rules is good but if you are a complete beginner, I will run you through the rules and help to make your character. You'll need to make your characters on the Roll20 website or through DNDBeyond. Discord will be necessary since we will use it to communicate.
