About the adventure
Thought to have been lost in ages past, Wave Echo Cave has recently been rediscovered by a trio of dwarven brothers. You and your band of adventurers have been hired to escort their newly acquired supplies for the expedition from Neverwinter to Phandalin, unaware of the dangers that lay ahead... This adventure is a fun, adventure with plenty of opportunity for combat, exploration and roleplaying for both new and experienced players that will take you from levels 1-5. I also like to pull in some extra content to expand the adventure for those that wish to add a little something extra, and can also be a great lead in to another adventure I run called Storm King’s Thunder.

How to prepare
To prepare for the game: 1) Please be sure to have a mic and webcam (although during gameplay it is fine for you to turn off your webcams). 2) Sign up for an account on D&D Beyond if you don’t have one already (I will send you a link to join our campaign) 3) Sign up for an account on Discord if you don’t have one anyway (I will send you a link to join my Discord server) 4) If you have your own set of polyhedral dice, feel free to bring and use those. Otherwise, you can also use the virtual dice on your D&D Beyond character sheet or you can role dice using text commands on Discord)
What I provide
I will bring everything else that is required to run our sessions. We will also be creating character portraits for our characters (don’t worry, you do not need to know how to draw to complete this exercise)
Gameplay details
Battles can as detailed (ie, you duck low, avoiding the incoming axe as you thrust your sword right into his gut) or as vague (ie, you attack the orc and it hits) as the group feels comfortable with. I will host a session 0 to go over the general rules and safety measures so that we keep the games as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

How will character creation work
We will start the game with new characters at level 1. If you have experience creating characters, feel free to prepare one and bring it with you to the game. If you have never created a character before, I can walk you through it during session 0. We will be using D&D Beyond for character creation, so if possible, please sign up for an account prior to our first session. If you are familiar with the game and prefer to track your character on paper, feel free to do so, although it would also be appreciated if you could create a character on D&D Beyond as well for encounter tracking purposes.
