About the adventure

Welcome Adventurers to a journey to recover ancients secrets long forgotten. This one shot takes place in the world of Faerun starting in the town of Daggerford and will take you on a journey out in the lands to look for the forgotten library. You and your party have some experience fighting off strange foes and decide to look for more challenging adventures. You go to the local tavern in town, Lady Luck Tavern, and ask the barkeep about any jobs for hire. He points in the direction of a young elven man who sits patiently waiting for someone to approach. This is where our story begins.

How to prepare

🧙‍♂️ You will need a Discord and D&D Beyond account as this is where we will be playing. 🎙️ Players need a microphone and a quiet place to play. 🎥 Webcams are optional but encouraged. 🎲 Dice and character sheets will be digital, all through D&D Beyond. - Also, if you own physical dice I allow players to use those as well. 📖 The rules are very simple and will be provided, so no purchase is needed. 💻 You will need a browser to open Owlbear Rodeo, but no downloads necessary.

How will character creation work

For this One Shot this is what you will need to do - First choose a Race (for this one shot the more exotic race the better) Choose any Standard Class Level them up to Level 3 Standard Starting Equipment (PHB) and 10gp + 1 uncommon magic item + 1 healing potion Ability Scores: Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) HP Generation: Roll hit dice + CON modifier OR take the Hit Die Average + CON modifier

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
