About the adventure

🎪 Wild Beyond the Witchlight - Feywild Based Campaign! 🧚‍♀️ 🎆 Animated Battlemaps! 🐲 DnDBeyond Character Creation! 🗣Voice Acting! ⚔ Beginner and LGBTQ+🏳‍🌈 Friendly! Welcome new and experienced players alike! Mister Witch and Light are proud to present to you: the Witchlight Carnival! In this campaign, you and a group of adventurers will set out to retrieve your "lost things" that were taken from you when you snuck into the Witchlight Carnival. After some time, you forgot about these thing lost, but now the Witchlight Carnival returns and that same longing for your "lost things" has returned. Where are they, and what do the owners of the carnival know? **This is an introductory campaign for new players to learn the D&D 5e system. Experienced players are encouraged to join, but understand that common rules and mechanics will be taught throughout play. In addition, this campaign will be run in the spirit of the original adventure.**

Additional Details

How to prepare

At minimum, the players will need a webcam and a mic. Rules will be explained through play. Characters will either be chosen at the session or prepared in consult with the Blue Collar Dungeon Master. No software needed. Internet connection with a relatively modern computer capable of running both Discord and a web browser such as Google Chrome required. Dice will be rolled virtually via Foundry VTT (we will go over at the start of session). A print out of the sheet is not necessary as it will be stored in both DNDBeyond and Foundry but is encouraged. Players will need to have Discord installed either on a device cable of performing voice and video capabilities for the session. Video call will be handled in Discord.

What I provide

The Blue Collar Dungeon Master will provide the game interface being Foundry VTT and DND Beyond Content for character creation.

Gameplay details

Players can expect a relaxed play environment with a focus on gradually learning rules through play as opposed to having to do any "homework" prior to the session. The game will employ safety tools like the XNO cards and a Digital RPG Consent list to ensure no boundaries are crossed. Players can expect the game would be rated PG13 as far as content goes.

How will character creation work

Character creation will be handled either with pre-made characters given by the Blue Collar Dungeon Master to the players, or the players can make their own level 1 characters with the help of the BCDM prior to the session.
