About the adventure
This is a one-shot Call of Cthulhu scenario, suitable for complete beginners or players with some experience. The entire scenario will be completed in one session of between 2-3 hours. Four pre-generated characters will be provided, although you are free to customize them and color them in as you wish. We will be playing "The Lightless Beacon." We will be using the Roll20 platform for the game to do die-rolls, handle character sheets, and share images, so please make a free account there if you don't have one already. We'll be using discord for voice.

Gameplay details
As this is a Call of Cthulhu game, this game will contain horror and suspense themes (examples may include finding dead bodies, seeing disturbing creatures, possibly violent fights, player characters dying or going insane). That being said, the purpose is to have fun, so specific limitations players would like to place on the game will be respected, using the "lines and veils" method. You can also signal at any time that you'd like for something to be avoided by providing a yellow card (move away from this topic or handle it off-screen) or red card (stop immediately with what is happening, and fast forward to something else). If you have any other suggestions for how to make this a fun and safe experience for you and all involved, please feel free to let me know at the beginning of the session.
