About the adventure

The End of the World was just the beginning! Welcome to the Post-Lands, an irradiated hellhole full of monsters, raiders, and weird magic phenomena. But hey, it's still home. The Bombs have destroyed civilization as we know it, but but the world marches on, and people still need to make a buck. Join a party of Elves, Dwarves, and Humans in this one-shot to escort the old Kondor into the ruins of the Old City. Will you be able to reach your destination and get out alive? In this 80's-inspired nuclear post-apocalypse, survival is hard and death waits around every corner. The appearance of Magic after the Bombs didn't make things any easier. If anything, now there's MORE weird stuff out to kill you! Safe Outposts are few and far between, but they are still essential to the survival of many people. They rely on Strangers like you to bring in resources and eliminate external threats. Hard job, but it's a job worth doing. This game system is called The Last Bomb, and it's pretty new (published in 2019), and it is quite different from more classic games like D&D. It is way simpler too: much fewer rules, easy to learn and to master. But it is quite lethal and unforgiving, as a bullet to the head will certainly kill you. If you aren't worried about violence (it is still a post-apocaliptic setting, after all) this game is also great to introduce kids to the wonders of Tabletop Roleplaying Games! The simplicity of the system and the ridiculousness of these action-packed adventures are sure to keep them entertained. Source: an acquaintance runs it for his children (8 and 12 years old) It has only been printed in Italian, but I will be translating all the info required to play (rules and adventure). For this one-shot, we're using pre-made characters, so we can get straight to play!

How to prepare

You need at the very least a Discord Account, as that is what we'll be using to talk. Also hardware that can let you talk to us, so a smartphone or a PC with a mic. I'd also strongly advise having Wi-Fi connection or an unlimited data plan, as these games can potentially consume quite the bandwith. With this, you're set to play, everything else helps but it's not strictly required Ideally you'd want: >A Discord Account >A Roll20 Account >A PC (or Mac, or Laptop) that can run both >Headphones >A Webcam (absolutely not required to use it if you don't feel like showing your face) >A Microphone (many headphones and webcams come with one) >Stable Internet Connection with unlimited data (WiFi or some nice mobile plan)

What I provide

I'll make character sheets for everyone as well as providing art to get you immersed in the setting. I have a roll20 Plus account so we can have fun with Dynamic Lighting on the battlemaps. I also often make custom maps using Inkarnate.

Gameplay details

This game uses a unique "kinda d10" system. Numbers are kept low and there's very few math involved. But keeping track of your resources is vital. Combat can always be lethal, and NPCs are often not very good people.
