About the adventure

This game is for any player looking to delve into a world worth exploring. If you're tired of high fantasy where everything is solved with a flick of the wand, take the lift downward through the clouds to the Lands Below. Here, it is your ingenuity and grit that will see you through the day and from one adventure to the next! In the Lands Below we will focus more on roleplaying, problem solving, and making choices that will influence the world. There will still be plenty of combat to do, however, everything is about the action the PCs choose. Delve into dungeons. Slay wicked wizards. Become embroiled with the drama of the local lords and ladies. The PCs shape the world in the Lands Below. This is a weekly pick-up game with many players coming and going, and leaving their mark on the world as they do. Players of any level of experience are welcome.

How to prepare

Abandon all hope. Not really. Come to the game with an open mind. Every DM does things a little different. This is an open game, I expect players to be respectful of each other. Make sure you have a microphone, headphones, a roll20 account, and discord.

What I provide

This adventure has been prepared in Roll20 with custom maps and player tokens that I will make from the character art that you provide. We will use my Discord for Voice, text, and video (if wanted)

Gameplay details

This is a low-magic setting. Exploration, role-playing, and ingenuity will be the key to success. There is plenty of combat to be had, but understand that you'll most likely be fighting to survive and escape rather than fighting to loot and gain xp.

How will character creation work

Dungeons and Dragons 5e. 1st Level characters. Stats (16, 14, 12, 10, 10, 8). Take average HP for levels beyond 1st. This is a low-magic game. If villagers see you doing magic, they might get their torches and pitchforks. Player's Handbook races only. No Unearthed Arcana. Backstory is important but anything more than a paragraph is too much. The more you write down about your character beforehand, the less you discover about them in the game. So lets play to find out! and discover who your character is and what they are meant to become! Characters can be made in Roll20, a googledoc, on a napkin, pretty much whatever, just send it to me somehow so I can check it out.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
