About the adventure
This is a zero level character funnel using the Dungeon Crawl Classics System. DCC is an Old School revival game focusing on gritty fantasy. Think of a mix of "Conan", meets "Lord of the Rings", having a love triangle with "Game of Thrones" Minus the sensationalized gratuitous sex. In this world heroes are rare and living ones are down right endangered. Player will rely on their wits and each other to survive, and that's just the introduction. Try your luck and risk life and limb in the Kings Challenge, few have ever returned from this harrowing adventure alive but those who do have become the folk of which the great bards sing songs. So kiss you family, sharpen your shovel and get ready to become a hero or die trying!

How to prepare
The rules are fairly simple some base knowledge would be great but not required. Dice and character sheets will come in handy.

Gameplay details
Dungeon Crawl Classics uses a system much like AD&D 3.5 but more streamlined and less clutter. The system is designed to kill PCs weeding out the weak and allowing the cream of the proverbial crop rise to the top. Players will start the Zero Level Funnel with 4 characters each which ever ones that survive through the funnel will progress to 1st Lvl adventurers . The system uses standard polyhedron dice as well as D3, D5, D7, D14, D24, and D30 dice. Medium role-play is expected, although definately open to beginneres this can be an unforgiving game, players beware.
