About the adventure

A Rising Threat. To the east of The Emerald Lands is a land known as The Jagged Range. The home of many beasts and horrors waiting to devour those foolish enough to enter. For decades these cursed lands have been left behind, only being raided by tribes desperate for metal. However, a strange force emerged from it raiding the plentiful Emerald Lands. The elders foretold that the raiders were from the tribe known as The Forgotten and that if they are not dealt with they will take over the land, and leave their towns in ruin. Unified Party. The tribes fearing their collapse hired their best warriors, hunters, and mages to raid The Jagged Range to find out anything about this threat. These tribesmen gathered at the easter edge of the land preparing for the raid. Some chased glory, gold, or knowledge, but all of them met the same fate. For years they have sent men not even receive a single message. Now out of desperation, the tribes assemble one last party to venture forth across The Bridge of Death. They of Darkness. There have been reports of strange beings emerging at night within The Jagged Range. All that is known of them is their multiple limbs and red glowing eyes. Along with these horrors, there have been tales of rocks awakening to kill those near them, stone-skinned birds falling from the skies to carry people off, and skulled beings casting plagues upon those that trespass on their lands. However there are stories of hope within this land, dogs bring supplies to those in need, dwarfs living in the mountains, and a seer that only sees tragedy. How to prepare

All players should have a mic that works and discord to play. If they would like they may use a webcam as well. Besides that they will need to just create their own characters, and each time a session is being hosted I will make sure everyone as a link to my Owlbear Rodeo room.

What I provide

I use Owlbear Rodeo to run my games and I create my own maps. Additionally I use discord for voice calls during games, and so that they can commutate with me and each other. For rules reference I only own a 5e Player's handbook. When it comes to the rule of cool, if there can be an argument that you could do something in game I will make a ruling on the spot.

Gameplay details

At any point during the game a player can message me through discord or speak up if a problem occurs. When a session ends I will check up on all the players individually to see if they had any problems or comments. During session 0 or when the campaign begins I will have an open talk with all players about what they can expect from the campaign, and what the players may want adjusted or what they expect.

How will character creation work

It is recommended to have a level 2 character ready for session and to always have a back up character just case the one in use meets their fate. Any official content created by Wizards of The Coast is fair to use. Although just send me the information about any Unearthed Arcana or homebrew content to make sure it won't break the game (odds are it will be approved I only want to understand it). If you seek to have a character that blends more into the setting try creating one that is tied to a tribe or clan. At any a player may ask to use any home brew content I created such as my own homebrew races.

Players can expect
