About the adventure
Nothing exciting has ever happened in this rural town. People come and go, children attend school, grow up, and move out. Nothing really changes, down to the same few cops that have been manning the local police offi ce and the same local grocery store sitting on the corner of main street. There are no movie theaters, and the only arcade is attached to the smoky bowling alley, so kids fi nd ways to entertain themselves: riding their bikes down the town’s lazy streets and through wooded trails, playing imaginary tag games, and exploring the abandoned corners of this relatively safe city, like the spooky abandoned home at the end of the cul-de-sac on Poplar Court. The characters, all students at Hebron High School, are also members of Theo Easton’s Investigation Club, which meets after school to investigate mysteries within the small town. Most of these “mysteries” are mundane and nonsensical, and very few of them end in actual excitement, but the investigation club has brushed up with the supernatural enough times to take the threat seriously and to brush up on their monster-hunting lore.

How to prepare
I plan to run this game on Roll20, so players should have an account and it is preferred that players have a mic. If players built a character on D&DBeyond, it is highly recommended that they download the Beyond20 extension. Players do not need prior experience or knowledge of the rules.
What I provide
We are playing online, so I will provide digital game components like maps, tokens, etc, when needed. If players wish, they can provide an image for me to use for their character portrait and character token. If a player doesn't provide this, I will use a placeholder image.
Gameplay details
Players should expect a light and fun environment with a patient DM who doesn't mind players asking questions. The rating for this adventure ranges between PG and TV-MA depending on the players, but there is no explicit content of any kind. Players should respect each other. No player vs player. Playful banter is ok.
