About the adventure

Our adventurers have finished their first mission; they have reopened the Lost Mines of Phandelver and begun the ancient work of crafting magical items once again. However, the furnace is old, and lacks the capacity for the demand now established by its operations, so production has been rather slow as of late. Many in Phandalin and the surrounding cities are pleased with the new prosperity of the mine. However, some fear that the greed of less reputable folks will encourage some dangerous behaviors. Nonetheless, Phandalin seems to be back on track to becoming the busy mining town it used to be.

How to prepare

Players should have a microphone and Discord account ready before the start of the adventure. Players will also need a Roll20 account to access the maps. Players can use whatever character sheet and dice rolling format they prefer.

I will bring custom maps, D&D Beyond and Roll20 access, and access to a Discord server

Gameplay details

All of my games follow the guidelines set out in the TTRPG Safety Toolkit. All players are required to complete an RPG Consent Checklist before the start of every adventure or one shot. This adventure combines darker themes and lighter humor to create an interesting balance of fun and serious adventuring. The pace of the adventure will vary at times, but will bounce between roleplay, investigation and exploring, and challenging but rewarding combat. This adventure would be rated PG-13 if it were a movie.
