About the adventure

Gregio Armani has called your group together to pull off the big one! You are known around the streets for your scams and petty thievery before but this one is different. You have somehow managed to get tickets to the most important event of the city on the night before Harvest Festival: Princess Kieyanttzeva’s Ball. This event is normally reserved for the rich and famous throughout the city. The best of foods is served, exotic performances occur and the night ends with one hell of a dance. But you all aren't here for just the ball. This year the ball location is at the most famous auction house in the city: Maiko’s Ruby. With high vaulted ceiling, plenty of space for spectators and a balcony overlooking the city to boot, it makes for quite the local. But most importantly, not all the goods of the auction house have been cleared out. In the back room there is a certain safe that contains Princess Kieyanttzeva’s Twin Headed Diamond. Two fist sized diamonds linked together by another inch of diamond. Aka, enough money to retire to the beach for about twenty lifetimes. And we have the key to the vault. So that is where you come in. You’ll need to get in there, distract the guard at the back room of the auction house, open the vault and grab the twin diamonds and get out of there. Are you ready to pull off the heist of your lives? Well get ready to become expert masterminds, grifters, hitters, and thieves!

How to prepare

If you've never played a Role Playing Game before check out this youtube video for a bit of the flavor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jbGshiuFs4. Please have a computer with a camera and a mic as well as the application zoom.us installed. Otherwise nothing to prepare for! We will do it all during the session.

What I provide

I'll be bringing pre-built characters and all the puzzles and rules. You just sit back and enjoy the ride :)

Gameplay details

"The Heist is a game about being a team. When you arrive you'll each get to choose a crook to play as with their own skillset. You might choose to be a grifter with a knack for charming people or you might choose to be a tough with fists the size of watermelons. You'll need to work together with your friends and make use of everybody's skillset to run a successful heist! You'll start off by talking with your team to determine a plan, and then you'll act through the plan each using your own skillset. This is a great introduction to the rules of Dungeons and Dragons. Each character in D&D has a set of skills, and when you want to make an action with that skill you'll get bonuses depending on how good you are at it. The game will familiarize yourself with these skills without knowing about them and while having fun!"
