About the adventure
This is a one-shot (scenario) for Call of Cthulhu 7th edition. Call of Cthulhu is a horror-based RPG set in the 1920s in which you play as investigators seeking to uncover a strange and possibly horrific mystery - chances are high that your character may either die or go insane (as per the Lovecraft stories on which the RPG is based) -- after all, this is a horror story in which you are playing! That said, the fun is in the roleplay and the struggle, and trust me, it's fun to get a little bit scared every once in a while!
How to prepare
A set of the rules will be provided to the players upon joining so that they can reference it before we begin. All play will be done through Zoom (video) and Roll20.
What I provide
All art, sounds, music, maps, etc will be provided virtually through Roll20.
Call of Cthulhu is a game about secrets, mysteries, and horror. Playing the role of steadfast investigators, teams of characters travel to strange and dangerous places, uncover foul plots, and stand against the terrors of the night. On the way, they will encounter sanity-blasting entities from beyond space and time, hideous monsters, and insane cultists; while within strange and forgotten tomes of lore they will discover secrets that man was not meant to know. These ordinary people will face many challenges, but their heroic stand may very well decide the fate of the world. During this game, you'll learn the basics of the game, and supplied with pregenerated characters, and within 30 minutes, get right into the story! You'll have a wonderfully dreadful time!
