The Discordant Harp
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20, Zoom
About the adventure
The Discordant Harp! Sehanine Moonbow's harp traces its tragic tale back to the beginnings of elven mythology and the betrayal of Araushnee, known now as Lolth. Since time immortal it has been lost, many say to the benefit of our world. Now a champion of Toa, god of knowledge, claims to have found it! Could it truly be the legendary Discordant Harp? What is the horrible curse Lolth placed upon it? Can the curse be broken or suppressed, or will it forever haunt the realm of morals? It's a simple mission, what could go wrong?... Rendezvous in the village of Tambrin with a champion of Toa and help escort her back to the city of Darfeign, only 3 days journey. But arriving at the remote village you find an ancient, deadly curse unleashed by the very artifact the champion was charged with protecting. Now buried within the catacombs of the ruined Baywick Castle, somehow the Discordant Harp plays its destructive melody across the countryside. Can you stop the curse before all of Tambrin succumbs to its maddening song? The Discordant Harp is an immersive adventure for 4-6 2nd level characters in the homebrewed land of Janathrian. Expect a balanced amount of roleplaying, exploration, suspense, and combat. This adventure is open to all levels of player experience. New players will find the situations and challenges intuitive without needing a deep understanding of the rules. More seasoned players will enjoy exploring Janathrian and using their knowledge to unlock hidden rewards.
