About the adventure
Five years have passed since the day you and a ragtag army of mercenaries failed to stop an imperial army. You escaped with your life...but little else. In the intervening time, you've healed, rebuilt your life, and tried to move on in a world gone mad. That old pain was renewed as a message from an old friend arrived. It bore one crucial message: The Godking is dead, but soon a new one will be crowned...unless you can prevent it. Join a part of level 5 characters on a daring heist to prevent the rise of a new Emperor. Your choices shape the story, deciding who lives and who dies. This is YOUR moment...are you ready? This one-off adventure is great for learning the ropes of D&D, fleshing out a character, and building party unity. - Roll your own character, or the DM can create one - Theater of the Mind - Out-think or Out-fight your opponents - Save the world, if you can
Additional Details
How to prepare
Set up a D&D Beyond Account (both free) and be sure to send your info to the DM. You don't need a webcam if you'd rather not be on camera, but a good mic and quiet space are recommended. Roll your character prior and make sure to send the details to the DM. Build them on D&D Beyond, as we will be using that to track rolls as well.
What I provide
This will be a theater of the mind, so there will be shared images, mood music, and the power of imagination.
Gameplay details
This is a one-off adventure, so be prepared to hit the ground running. Whether you're all friends coming to the table or a group of strangers, the DM will set the tone and story off the bat. Be prepared to roleplay, combat, and puzzles.

How will character creation work
PCs will need to be level 5, so you can add XP to your current PC or roll an entirely new one. If you want your (lite) backstory incorporated into the game, you'll need to message the DM at least two days prior to the session. If you don't know how to create a character, the DM can send you a quick and easy character creation sheet. You are allowed to add one common, one uncommon, and one rare item.
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: Medium
- Roleplay: High
- Puzzles: Low
- Experience Level: Beginner
