About the adventure

It's been almost a century since the demon hordes, summoned with blood magic and set loose, ravaged the known world. The city-states have been rebuilt and the period of strife and turmoil is over. However, the future is... uncertain at best. Bone casters and stargazers fail to see the regularities and interpret the signs, as if some unknown force holds them at bay. Those who tried forcing their way through had their minds and their bodies broken. The leaders and high priests are anxious and readying for a new threat to emerge. These are just rumors to the common folk. You are more concerned with your daily struggles. And yet, as fate has it, you have a part to play in what is to come. Will you be just a pawn in its hands, or will you forge a destiny of your own? The Gates of 𒈲𒄭𒄊 (or Mušḫuššu in non-cuneiform) is a long-term campaign in a homebrew Bronze Age setting inspired by the Dominions series, mythology, various D&D settings and multiple other influences. As part of a group bound by chance and fate, you will partake in events on a scale civilization has never seen before, and unravel the mysteries behind this world.

How to prepare

You will need a working mic, a discord account for voice chat and a web browser with hardware acceleration enabled for Foundry (not Safari). No previous knowledge of Pathfinder required - I'll be happy to introduce you, and most if not all materials are available under SRD.

What I provide

I will provide a lot of maps, artwork and custom-made monsters (along with your PF2e classics), in addition to a whole new world to explore.

Gameplay details

This game is an open-ended campaign and might feature a lot of exploration in addition to combat and roleplaying - but it's all up to you!

How will character creation work

The game starts at level one, unfortunately. Characters can be created before Session 0 using Foundry sheets or Pathbuilder app (although you need a premium version to be able to import your character into Foundry, it's still a great way to build characters). On Session 0 we will discuss your characters and tie them together to form a party.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
