About the adventure

the furnace is a story roleplaying game about WWI soldiers fighting in the trenches. Players take the role of a World War One soldier and must build their story, including what awaits them at home, then make the final push at enemy lines. Each player takes turns selecting the type of scene they wish to occur next, and the PCs involved. The GM then reacts and narrates accordingly. Each game plays 100% differently. This is a narrative, dramatic, game with NO combat system.

How to prepare

One could get a Master's Degree in early 20th century history, but that's probably a bit much. Beyond that? Have Discord installed, with a working microphone and speakers; that should be plenty.

What I provide

The one-page game. It can also be obtained on DriveThru RPG. Using Discord.

Gameplay details
