About the adventure

On practically every town board and the lips of every town crier is only one name: Almendrud. The heroes hear this nobleman is searching for adventurers to aid him in a new expedition. They are told to meet his associate in a tall tower known as Archeologicus Post. This D&D 5e adventure will take you through flying ships and forgotten deserts. A 3-5 hour one-shot adventure for 4th level characters. New and experienced players welcome.

How to prepare

You will need a Discord account and a microphone. A webcam is appreciated but not required. You'll need an account on Roll20 and D&D Beyond. Both are free.

What I provide

I'll bring the adventure, maps and tokens in Roll20, which is the virtual table top used for this adventure. Various sourcebooks and modules in D&D Beyond and Roll20. A discord server instance. Background music and ambience.

Gameplay details

We'll be using Discord for voice communication, webcam video is appreciated but optional. At any time, you can send me a Discord private message if any game content makes you feel uncomfortable or if you need a time out. We will have a break around halfway through the session but you are always welcome to step away if necessary. Self-care is important. After the session, we'll have a chance to chat and make sure everyone is ok. This is a fairly classic D&D encounter with combat and roleplay elements.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created in advance at level 4, with standard starting equipment and 1 regular healing potion. Characters can be created on D&D Beyond or Roll 20. If you are using D&D Beyond then you will need to install the Beyond 20 extension so that your dice rolls are sent to Roll20. https://wiki.roll20.net/Beyond20 I'll also have some pre-made characters for anyone who is unsure what they want to play or joins late and doesn't have time to roll their own. I'll be available on Discord before the game to assist in setting up your character and getting Beyond 20 installed. And afterwards for debriefing if needed.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
