About the adventure

🛕 Explore an ancient temple ⚔️ Battle mighty generals 👑 Bind the Demon Queen 🌎 Save the World 🌍 For the past several months, rumors have grown regarding a strange figure wandering the lands making outlandish requests of royals and rulers. You have encountered hand-written posters promising riches in exchange for "the bravery needed to save the world". When you finally meet with the man he tells a tale of an ancient order who battled and was able to seal away the evil demon queen. But the magic sealing her away is weakening after a thousand years. He needs hearty adventurers to head out to the desert, enter the dungeon and renew the seal. Are you up for the challenge? Join us for this multipart, level 9 mini campaign! Race against time as the bonds weaken and her power grows. The adventure is centered on exploration and combat, though as always role play and meaningful character moments are encouraged in my games, even in shorter series.

How to prepare

A computer capable of running Foundry VTT through your browser, Chrome Browser works best, but Chromebooks tend to chug https://foundryvtt.com/article/requirements/ If you haven't used Foundry I will teach you how to used it. Check this out before our first session https://foundryvtt.com/article/player-orientation/ for an idea of what to expect We will use Discord for voice, a headset is preferable over speakers. A decent microphone. It is polite to minimize background noise as much as possible while on mic. I will be using a web cam to add to the fun, however players are not obligated to be on camera. I do find it brings a little bit of that table feel to an online game.

What I provide

Music and sound effect volume is controllable on the player's side so that you can have as much or as little as you like. The Foundry Module full of visual effects, fantastic music and epic bad guys. Fun art for the Theater of the Mind moments and battlemaps for combat. A beginner, LGBTQ+ and neuro-divergent safe space

Gameplay details

The Monte Cook RPG Consent form is available on my Discord for everyone to fill out. Some people find the multitude of questions overwhelming so we will also be using a Thirsty Sword Lesbians inspired Palette for sharing our lines and veils. There is a module within FoundryVTT used anonymously for any X, N or O cards. This will be a more combat focused experience than my usual games, although roleplay will still be involved. Even with heavy combat games, I like to make them as cinematic as possible and encourage players to do the same when describing their actions. The fights will be tough, these generals want to win and the queen wants to rise to rule again! Know what your character can do, it may be the difference between life and TPK.

How will character creation work

Character Creation Standards This is a 9th level adventure When creating new characters please use the Dungeon Dudes standard array - 17, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8 All characters will get 2 common magic items, 1 uncommon magic item and an extra 700gp above your background to spend on items. All WOTC is available. Homebrew is not allowed for this short series. Premade characters will be available

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
