About the adventure
Compelling dreams bring dozens to the sea, where you all meet other dreamers. From there your life becomes entangled with the ethereal Lady in Blue whose true name cannot be uttered without the risk that her supernatural enemies will find her... You'll rescue her allies and confront her foes in a series of adventures, with your due reward awaiting you. Dungeon Crawl Classics is a d20 fantasy game which favors player inventiveness and creativity through a great power/great risk schema. If you've played D&D 5e, it's a simpler ruleset but familiar enough to be understood quickly. Character creation is part of playing the game, so there is no special session for that. Beginners welcome! Seasoned players welcome! Everybody is welcome! This campaign encompasses the following adventures and modules: • The Hole in the Sky • Doom of the Savage Kings • The Imperishable Sorceress • Elzemon & the Blood Drinking Box • The Queen of Elfland's Son • along with some home-brewed material based on your characters and their actions

How to prepare
Basic familiarity with Zoom is essential. We'll need to hear you, and seeing you would be helpful, too, but is not necessary. If you have the appropriate dice, you certainly may use them, but using an online dice roller of your preference is fine, too. If you have little-to-no past experience with RPGs please let me know so I can adjust the process accordingly. Bring your adventurous sensibility and your imagination...!
What I provide
I've been hooked on DCC since before the full rules were published, so I know my way around it... I've run it at numerous Cons -- both virtual and IRL -- for tables of new DCC players and seasoned players alike. I know we'll have fun.
Gameplay details
Suitable for new players *and* experienced players alike. You can roll physical dice in your location or use the dice rolling app of your choice on the honor system. I will lean the way you do; if you want a game that's more lighthearted, more beer-and-pretzels-y, I can accommodate that -- want something more immersive and serious? I can do that, too. I run games suitable for the whole family. I will expect that you will conduct yourself accordingly. Players under 18 need a parent or other adult playing along with them.
