About the adventure

'The small town of Waterside has seen its fair share of adventurers come and go, hungry for the treasures and unlocked mysteries of the nearby Caves of Chaos. You are no different, each with your own agenda as you travel to the seemingly abandoned valley in the Giant's Run Mountains. Be warned: few adventurers emerge alive with little more than their sanity.' **** A dungeon crawl one-off based on the classic Caves of Chaos. Players will delve into a dark and dangerous chasms of monsters and mysteries. Content includes a nearby Podunk town as a starting point, an intricate cave system filled with classic 5e enemies and magical treasure, and a narrative-driven mystery hidden within the cold stone walls.

All players MUST complete all tasks listed in the Welcome Links before the session begins. The links are sent via message over StartPlaying Games and Discord. All players MUST have the following items prepared before the session begins: + Reliable Access to the Internet + Card Payment set up in StartPlaying Games + A working microphone + An account for D&D Beyond (required to join the campaign, create digital character sheet, and use digital dice). + An account for Roll20 (required to access battle maps). + An account for Discord (main form of communication between players and the GM, used for character and environment interaction). + A Level 4 character created on D&D Beyond. + An open mind, a willingness to explore, and a respectful attitude toward everyone at the table. It is highly recommended to find a quiet environment with minimal interruptions in order to maintain immersion for the game. If you’re trying out new material - be it a class you’ve never played or a homebrewed spell list - please make sure you research it before we begin the session.
