About the adventure

Everyone agrees that the caravan of seasons keeps a very tight schedule, but no-one can quite agree on what that schedule is. Some say its journey starts at the exact moment the last of the emerald butterflies emerge from their spun-glass cocoons. Or that it can't cross the river Entheless until a young maid learns her True Name under the light of a full moon. And one old man told me the caravan only passes his house right after his wife has baked a loaf of bread with acorn flour and nutmeg. *** The Caravan of Seasons is a West Marches-style campaign for the Ryuutama roleplaying system that lets players take their home base with them as each of them seek the secret of their True Name--something they each can only learn when they can, in all certainty, say they know the whole of themselves.

How to prepare

Players should have a mic and a computer capable of handling Roll20. I would also recommend clicking through the campaign wiki (linked below) to get an understanding of the game so far.

Gameplay details

Since this is a Westmarches-style game, every new player will have an individual Session 0 which will involve both an out-of-character discussion of the game so far, a review of the game's code of conduct, and a small portion of in-game roleplaying to introduce the main NPCs and help new players learn the rules. This game is meant to be cute and uplifting and so hopefully will not be pushing anyone's boundaries. How will character creation work

All characters will start at level 1. Players can make their character ahead of time, but I will be holding an individual Session 0 for all new players, and we can go through character creation during that one-on-one time if needed.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
