About the adventure

Your contact? Dead. Your ship? Impounded by the Empire. Your job was an absolute failure, but the fate waiting for you at the mines of Cynda would be far worse. Desperate to escape, you and your associates start to put together an escape plan... The Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG system has a high focus on narrative dice and story telling. The game will have a high focus on action-packed scenes and player/character focus. There will be ground combat, vehicular combat, social encounters, and chase sequences! No Star Wars knowledge or experience with the Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG is needed. This game is geared towards players with little to no experience with the system. All ages welcome.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Each player should be able to use Discord for the purpose of broadcasting and receiving audio. Video is not required. The Foundry Virtual Tabletop runs on Google Chrome and will have all of your character information already filled out, it also contains a dice roller which we will be using throughout the game. Foundry VTT is a browser based gaming system that runs best on Google Chrome. The gameplay overall will not be extremely rules-critical, the focus is on fun, fast, and exciting experience. If you haven't seen any of the Star Wars shows or movies, you may want to watch Solo: A Star Wars Story, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Mandalorian, or Book of Boba Fett.

What I provide

Foundry VTT along with the Star Wars Fantasy Flight Games RPG modules which contain all of the character sheets, rules, items, dice, maps, scene backdrops, and handouts that you will need to play. I also have access to all of the FFG Star Wars RPG sourcebooks available to provide you with the fullest extent of character creation and customization. Additionally there will be sound effects, thematic music, ambience, dynamic lighting, which combine to make an engaging tabletop experience.

Gameplay details

The game is set in the Star Wars Universe. Humans, robots, aliens, and animals may engage in combat and these characters may die in combat. Similar to the Star Wars movie there is no gore. SAFETY TOOLS - I'd ask that all players be familiar with the TTRPG Safety Tools as available here (bit.ly/ttrpgsafetytoolkit) 1. Before the game starts we will use the LINES AND VEILS to identify any possible trigger scenes in the game and either remove, adjust, or avoid them. 2. During the game if you encounter a scene that is triggering we will use the OPEN DOOR policy, you as a player can step away. If the player is comfortable they can indicate what is triggering at that time and return when the scene is over. Keep in mind the following while playing - 1. This is meant to be a fun and friendly gaming environment. Please avoid hateful comments and other triggering interactions with players. Please don't harass the other players, or engage in gameplay that would hurt their experience. If a player is being made uncomfortable you will be given one (1) warning. If it happens again then you will be asked to leave the session. 2. The game will start within five (5) minutes of the game start time. The game will not be held up past this point, please do not be late. 3. You must provide 24 hour notice if you can't make the session. 4. I personally choose not to use strong language. If there is any content that you are not comfortable with then please let me know immediately.

How will character creation work

All players will be using pre-generated characters with starting level experience. There will be 5 pre-generated characters for the players to choose from.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
