About the adventure

You represent the Sovereigns of the Interstellar Realm of Queertopia on a diplomatic mission to the neighboring Empire of Heteronormia. The Crown Prince of the Heteronormian Empire is to be married; as the Queertopian delegation, you’re there to advance the interests and values of your people. This adventure tends to fall on the “goofy” end of the tone spectrum, and can also be a cathartic power fantasy. In this game you will learn to play Thirsty Sword Lesbians in a lighthearted romp. You will make characters in the game, and be taught the mechanics in the session. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need an account with roll20.net to be able to access the game. You will also need a Discord account and a working microphone so that you can join the voice chat. Webcams are optional. Reading the rules in advance is optional, as this game will include character creation and teaching the basics of the rules. We will be using the digital dice provided by roll20, however if you prefer to use real dice that is fine as well.

What I provide

I will be providing links to the roll20 game where you will have access to reference documents, character sheets and digital dice. I also will provide a link to my discord channel where we will have our voice chat.

Gameplay details

This games includes the following themes: fantasy violence, sex, attraction, emotional vulnerability, LGBTQIA+ relationships and issues, as well as the potential for exploring sex and gender norms. This game will often reference and make fun of the social norms. If this or any of the listed topics is something you are uncomfortable, this game may not be suited for you. If you have any questions about it, please feel free to reach out to me and ask. Because of the topics listed above, I will be using a Red/Yellow/Green card system as well as Lines and Veils for safety tools.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created together as a group at the start of the session. You're welcome to explore the playbooks available before the session by going to https://www.evilhat.com/home/thirsty-sword-lesbians-resources/ and downloading the Core Playbooks.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
