About the adventure

The ground is dry, the air is hot, the war-rigs are loud as hell, and the malevolent mana-storm that surrounds the Badlandz are wildly toxic. The vehicles and society are powered by magic sky-crystals called Scale that fall from the storm that swirls around and above this strange place. It's hard to hold on to with all the bandits, scale-eating maniacs, and tax collectors walking about. You, as always, are just trying to make a living in this wild place. Something that's made a lot harder with Iron Lord Bandits and Matron Peacekeepers around. And... why does that goblin have mohawk? Wait, WHAT is going on? Welcome to the Badlandz Blitz! A Pathfinder 2E or D&D 5E game for 2-6 players, where our heroes will undertake tasks and adventures with the patronage of one Aloysius T. Funk, the infamous goblin known also as Lord Funk.

How to prepare

Make sure you have a suitable mic and a way to access Discord's voice chat (which is how we communicate during session). Then, make sure to download the *FREE* version of Fantasy Grounds Unity (not the steam version). I have the ultimate license, which means players can join my games and use all the features I've set up with the FREE version. Links and information about joining the Discord and the Fantasy Grounds game will be sent out upon signup.

What I provide

I'm bringing voice acting, custom battle-maps, and a whole cast of wild characters! I'm also open to homebrew options, within reason.

Gameplay details

This game is meant to be a light hearted romp through the Badlandz, and is meant to be an opportunity to let loose and be over-the-top in not only a game with a flexible story, but also in a world where a LOT is over the top. However the setting includes themes of/references to drug use, violence, and just generally bad life experiences living in the Badlandz, and these can be adjusted based on player comfort. Once signed up, you'll be able to fill out The TTRPG Safety Toolkit Digital RPG Consent Checklist to let me know exactly what is, and isn't alright.

How will character creation work

The first session is dedicated to getting your characters put together, and then putting the party in the same room. I prefer players to come to session with an idea in mind, and then the party will both have a private conversation with me about what they want to play as well as be able to discuss it with their party. Having an idea of who you want your character to be will help, whether it's the traveling bounty hunter, the half-cyborg sorcerer, the manic alchemist, the burnt-out bard, or maybe even just the crazy-smart town barkeep who got wrapped up into a crazy adventure!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
