About the adventure

The Accursed Tower is a Forgotten Realms adventure for 1st level characters. You will guard a caravan heading over The Spine of the World mountains to Icewind Dale, Ten-Towns. FREE SESSION ZERO will be offered. The description below is for the adventure. During session zero, we will talk about setting/character building and who the other players are. We will discuss the campaign and any progression the party has made so far. This low-level, stand-alone adventure will take 6 or more sessions to complete. The PCs begin in the port city of Luskan, where they are hired on by a caravaning merchant to perform guard duty for the long, dangerous journey over the Spine of the World Mountains. If the heroes do well, they reach the small town of Targos, where they hear rumors of a dead mage's lost tower out on the tundra. In order to find it, the PCs must overcome numerous obstacles but may find allies in the peoples of the Ten-Towns region, including a barbarian prince, a sly halfling, and a unique ranger. Players will start at 1st level. Players will meet in Luskan. The party will be traveling with the caravan. At the end of this session one, everyone who survives will gain a level. Group dynamic can change the speed at which the adventure processes. I want to give you time to roleplay and enjoy the adventure. I can adjust slower for new players or faster if needed. This adventure will 6 or more sessions to complete. Player skill and a constant push will finish it faster. I am sure every group will be different I look forward to the challenges you the players throw my way.

How to prepare

You will need to set up discord. This program lets us talk to each other. https://discord.com/download Players will need a mic. so we can talk to each other. We will help set up discord and change settings if needed. Roll20 has the dice rolling built in. You will be rolling or generating rolled numbers and they will be posted in the game chat area of roll20. This way everyone can see what everyone rolls. Free session zero will be available to clear up any issues. Book one that corresponds with your game. Make sure you book your seat in the next session.

What I provide

Roll20 experience Discord I will set up a character sheet on roll20 for you to create a character. Most of the game books will be available for character creating. Also we can use discord to share maps or pics if needed.

Gameplay details

My goal is to make this fun for all. Players are not allowed to play an evil alignment. Players can not steal from each other. Loot and treasure will need to be shared and divided at the end of every session. If needed I will assure this is done fairly. We don't want to waste time on this. Any player that has a trigger that could disrupt your game play experience, please let us know and I can adjust an encounter.

How will character creation work

We will have a round zero before the adventure starts. This is when we make the characters and answer any questions. When you level up we can add any new abilities. The roll20 table has this built in. I will help you set up your character before we start play. We will use discord. Character can be built on dndbeyond (you can use your books there) or roll20, where I have most of the books available for character creation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
