About the adventure

"Oh, Heaven's no, they just tell you that nonsense in Waterdeep." The guide says as he leads you through a bustling market, "there are numerous towns up and down the coast. This is just where we trade with the Sword Coast. But with all of the archaeologists pouring in, looking for Mezro, I expect all the towns will be on your maps soon." He stops as porters pack the large pack lizards, what did he call them... "dinosaurs." "And I hate to say it, but for us, yes, we who could not afford ressurection magics, the curse on this land has made for a bit a boom, as adventurers pour in from far and wide. But my manners, welcome to Chult..." Explore the Chultan peninsula, over-run with a magical rain forest expanding at an unchecked rate since the mysterious disappearance of Mezro and its schools of learning that rivaled even the great Candlekeep. Start with searching for the Tomb of Annihilation and discover the secret of missing Mezro in this campaign. Starting with the Tomb of Annihilation, this campaign will have enough home-brewed content to take characters through level 20. Forget what you thought you knew, and experience a unique walk through the lands of Chult.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Player should create characters before their first session, or they can use a pregenerated character. Characters can be created in Roll20 or using DnDBeyond, I prefer Roll20 character sheets be maintained and I will work with players to do this. I do not use a webcam but you should have discord and a working microphone. I encourage players to use push to talk or to arrange to have minimal background noise.

Gameplay details

This game will have a heavy exploration and discovery focus as the party explores lands that have been claimed by a magically verdant rain forest. In addition, there will be a focus on role-playing and interacting with the environment.

How will character creation work

The party will start at level one, and arrangements will be made for making characters before joining a game. The game will advance all the way through level 20 and new characters will be created at an appropriate level.
