About the adventure
Ten days ago, the world went dark. Five days ago, They came. Now, you fight for survival, clinging on to the last shreds of hope, and the last sources of light in an otherwise dark and lonely universe. --- 10 Candles is a fantastic game for keen roleplayers and storytellers. You have almost as much control over the story as the GM has! One thing is certain... all your characters will die. HOW they will die, and who they are in their last days and hours... is up to you. Mechanically, this game is simple. The titular 10 candles function as the player's shared hope/life meter, and also as their dice pool. As rolls are failed, candles are blown out, and your dice pool gets lower. Slowly, the world becomes more dangerous, more hopeless. But perhaps your character can cling on. Can find moments of light, laughter, friendship. These things are true... the world is dark. And you are alive.

How to prepare
You will need: - a computer/laptop, as Foundry does not work well on tablets or phones - stable internet - microphone - speakers/headphones so you can hear the voice chat - a discord account, and join my server - webcam is always nice, but not 100% necessary - a quiet place to play

Gameplay details
Before we begin the game, we will go over lines and veils, so we collectively know which topics to avoid. Sexual content beyond PG-style, or sexual violence is 100% banned at my table. XNO cards are programmed into my Foundry setup, so they can be used at any time. After the game, I will stay in the voicecall and decompress with anyone who wants, either chatting about the game, or silly things to get back to a regular state of mind after such a tragic horror game.

How will character creation work
Character creation is part of the game, so we will do that all together as the game begins. You do not need to prep anything, besides thinking of what lines and veils you may want to give, so that the game remains safe and enjoyable for all. It may be tragic horror, but that does NOT mean we want to trigger or genuinely upset anyone.
