About the adventure

Five years ago, a hermitage devoted to the contemplation of nature was established in an abandoned island fortress, once the site of a beacon meant to warn against invasion from the sea. The folk of the hermitage opened the island to people of all faiths, promising a place for those seeking solitude and peace. Recently the communications from that hermitage have ceased, and it is up to the adventurers to determine what has happened to this calm community. Has tragedy befallen them, or is this a precursor to some greater threat. This adventure will have level 9 characters investigating why a small community has gone quiet, as well as fighting off the great evil plaguing the island. Can you survive the onslaught of deadly creatures to save the hermitage and as well as the main land? Join me on this journey and find out!

Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need a working microphone and preferably headphones to play the game. You should have a familiarity with the basic rules of Dungeons and Dragons 5e. You will also need an account for Roll20 to access the game & Discord to access the chat. You will also need to be able to share a copy of your character sheet, either through Roll20, DnDBeyond, or some other digital method such as a pdf.

What I provide

I will bring a fully set up roll20 game, complete with maps, npc character art, music and API's to assist the game. I have a discord server that will host the voice chat. I have a DnDBeyond Master account that I can create a campaign with you if you want access to the character builder. And Finally I will be bringing a fun engaging story that will keep you on your toes!

Gameplay details

Content Warning: Death, Undead horrors, fantasy violence, fighting for survival, feeling trapped and surrounded, exploring the ocean and unknown waters This game will use the Red, Yellow and Green card safety tools. I want to make sure all of my games are comfortable to play in.

How will character creation work

The characters will be level 9, and will be made before the adventure. Only printed D&D 5e character options will be allowed. This game will not allow homebrew, unearthed arcana, Acquisitions Incorporated, or Wildemount content. The characters will be able to outfit themselves from an approved list of magic items before the game starts.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
